MASON CITY – A Mason City man is behind bars after a search warrant was executed earlier this month.

Mason City police say that on Thursday, September 29 at 12:36 PM, officers arrested 35-year-old Ryan David Ihde of Mason City for possession of stolen property in the 2nd degree; a class D felony and possession of drug paraphernalia; a simple misdemeanor. This arrest is related to the search warrant served at 330 South Pennsylvania, Apartment #4 on September 15th.

During that search warrant, officers recovered numerous bikes and bike parts. Four of the recovered bikes were reported stolen to our department on September 12th. Another bike seized during the search warrant was reported stolen to the Ames, Iowa police department on July 14th.

Ihde was also found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia today when he was arrested, so an additional charge of drug paraphernalia was filed.
