COUNCIL BLUFFS – The Iowa Department of Public Safety’s (DPS) Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation (DCI) Special Enforcement Operations Bureau (SEOB) Agents arrested and charged three men with several felony charges stemming from an investigation at the Horseshoe Casino in Council Bluffs.
The investigation began in March of this year by DCI Agents at the casino. A pit boss/gaming floor supervisor, dealer and patron are facing felony charges related to conspiracy at a roulette table at the casino, which took place over a several week time period. It is believed that the three worked together to move chips to winning numbers and other cheating moves which allowed the patron to earn thousands of dollars illegally each time. The three would allegedly split the earnings afterwards. A total of over $20,000 was illegally obtained by these individuals.
