According to Mason City police, Monday afternoon at about 3:15 PM, the Mason City Police Department received a call from a subject stating he was assaulted and his wallet and cell phone taken by two white males in their 20’s while on the walking path behind the Mason City Public Library. The victim received an abrasion on his forehead and sought medical attention on his own.
The investigation into this incident is on-going and anyone with information about this case is encouraged to contact the Mason City Police Department at 641-421-3636.
