HARRISON COUNTY, IA – An Iowa woman was injured in a two-vehicle accident Sunday evening.
According to the Iowa State Patrol, at around 10:20 PM Sunday, May 10 on Highway 30 near the 1 mile marker, 53-year-old Marilee Louise Collier of Missouri Valley was driving her 1998 Ford Taurus westbound when she crossed the center line and struck an eastbound semi. Collier was ejected from the vehicle. She was transported to Creighton Hospital by Lifenet following the collision.
The driver of the semi, 57-year-old Merlin Jay Howley of Sioux City, was not injured.
The accident remains under investigation.
