MASON CITY – A Mason City man accepted a plea deal in a domestic abuse assault case and is now in jail serving his sentence.
Troy Jesse Boggess, age 35, is serving 9 days in jail on a domestic abuse charge and an assault charge stemming from an incident on September 24. Several police officers converged on 110 15th Street NW that day and arrested Boggess after an investigation. He pled guilty on December 5, 2014 and was given the jail sentence as well as a year of probation and $780.75 in fines and court costs.
