MASON CITY – Police arrested a North Iowa man Friday for shoplifting in Mason City.
Mason City police were called to Mills Fleet Farm, 3200 4th Street SW, on Friday, August 15 at about 11:55 AM on a report that a shoplifter had been detained at the store. After police arrived and investigated, 41-year-old Chad C. Morris of Corwith was placed under arrest and charged with theft in the fifth degree.
Morris was taken to jail and booked. He later posted $300 cash bond and was released pending an August 27, 2014 court appearance.
