MASON CITY – The Cerro Gordo County Sheriff’s business office will be closed Tuesday, January 14, 2014 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. for employees to attend a funeral, Sheriff Pals said Monday.

Negotiate that in your next contract. A lot of folks in the private sector have it.
The company I work for has paid funeral leave. I think several company’s do.
