This takes the cake. This helmet head woman was a bartender in Texas. Some guy married her, took her out of the tavern she worked in, brought her here because of his job. Then he died, left her some insurence and she grabbed up Jim Marinos and became the mayor. Now people living here think she is smart, figures. There is a saying, you can be anything you want 50 miles from home. She is proof of that. Now she is wadding out into deep water.

Jodi said it best when she said when she decided to run she didn’t expect to run against all four incumbents

I find the height of hypocrisy right here in Mason City. All candidates are evil, negative and ruthless…however the incumbents can say all they want and they are just campaigning. I have never seen elected officials ban together and run. EVER! Because it is not right to do, the candidate is running to represent the people, not what “side” or team they are wanting to be on once elected. All in all I guess the hillbilly’s are scaring bookmeyer he is doing all he can as he can not believe he might not win. I hope Wednesday morning the Globe reads Eric has been fired!

I have never seen a group of elected officials pat themselves on the back so much. This is bizarre, who are they trying to convince?

Bookmeyer, Tornquist, and Solberg come across to me as narcissistic. Well, that is how they appear to me. But this posting my Ms. Marinos is just as bad. I am wondering if the whole group thinks this way.

That old saying, “Bird of Feather All Flock Together”, seems to be holding true with this bunch. Why would a sitting council-member make such an untrue disparaging remark when there is a chance some or all of them may be elected? You are going to have to sit at the same table and get along and respect each other. Ms. Marinos is old enough to know better!

No wonder this group can’t face people and talk about the issues when they come out among the folks.

Shame on all of you incumbents!

I can’t explain it in a short note but know 1st hand. How credible does this sound…you better explain it or we can’t buy into it Marinos.

This is called panic mode, you aren’t quite sure what things may come that’s all.

Either way the thought of freaking you people out for a minute is worth everything!

I still ask HOW can any person alive not agree with the honest down to earth candidates? Especially Max. All they are saying is LET’S HELP EVERYONE SOME HOW and ALL WORK TOGETHER. WHY wouldn’t Bookmeyer people want that in their life and fellow mankind.

I have never heard Skipper or the mayor or councilmen thank or welcome anyone into THEIR space. Max does. He said it time and again.

Weaver has done nothing but respect every single one of them if they showed up.

Evil is at your doorstep if you DO NOT vote OUT Bookmeyer! How much more proof do you need?!

VOTE MAX!!!
