Cover art for the book is by another native Algonan, an artist well-regarded nationally and internationally, Gary Kelley

MASON CITY – Newspaperman and native Algonan Denny Waller has written his first book, “Walkin’ Joe and the Midnight Marauders,” now available on Amazon. While it is memoir of a year or so in Denny’s childhood, it is much more than that–funny in places, harrowing in others, thought-provoking in all; well-written, with interesting area historical references throughout. Please see attached article and website for more information on the book and author; I don’t want to fill your inbox with a bunch of redundant copy.

Dennis R. Waller will sign copies of his book, “Walkin’ Joe and the Midnight Marauders” on Friday, Dec. 14, from 5:00-7:00 pm at Encore! Boutique, 14 S. Federal, on the open plaza in downtown Mason City, just south of the Historic Park Inn Hotel. Refreshments will be served.

Dennis’ contact email address is dennywaller24@yahoo.com.
