A Celebration of Life will be held at The Rustic Barn Venue in Nora Springs, IA at 2:00pm on Saturday, March 14, 2026 with Mark Doebel officiating. To honor Bailey’s wishes, the family asks for all to dress colorfully.
Bailey was born on April 12, 1992, in St. Cloud, Minnesota, to Douglas and Erin (Lusk) McPherson. She grew up in St. Cloud and graduated from St. Cloud High School before continuing her education at the University of Minnesota. From an early age, Bailey possessed a whimsical spirit and a deep curiosity about the world around her.
Although they grew up living on the same block, Bailey and Jefferson did not truly cross paths until their high school years. What began as a shared hometown connection blossomed into a lasting relationship. The couple was united in marriage on September 18, 2021, in St. Cloud. Together, they cherished taking road trips, exploring new places, and spending hours in meaningful conversations about media, culture, and the world around them.
Bailey was an exceptionally empathetic soul. She felt deeply for others, so much so that when someone was hurting, she carried that pain with them. Her open-mindedness and compassion made her a trusted confidant and a steady source of comfort. She loved animals, especially cats, and found joy in their companionship. Bailey also had a simple favorite indulgence: bread.
Bailey will be remembered for her gentle heart, thoughtful conversations, and the genuine care she showed to everyone fortunate enough to know her. Her love, kindness, and bright spirit will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
In honor of Bailey’s deep love for animals, the family encourages donations your local humane society, helping continue the compassion and care she so strongly believed in.
Bailey leaves behind her husband, Jeff McPherson; parents, Douglas and Erin (Lusk) McPherson; sister, Paige (Josh) Larson; nephew, Deacon Larson; grandmothers, Carolyn Braastad, and Barb McPherson; her beloved cats, Taco, Milly, and Lana; as well as numerous other extended family and friends.
