MASON CITY – A Mason City shooting incident has left one person hurt and one man charged with assault.
According to Mason City police, on November 9, 2020, Mason City Police Officers responded to a subject who had been shot in the leg in the 1100 block of 1st Street SE. As a result of the investigation, 61-year-old Kevin Bergman was charged with Aggravated Misdemeanor Assault.
The investigation into this incident is still on going. Anyone with further information is encouraged to contact the Mason City Police Department.
