MASON CITY – A Mason City man has been nabbed on a federal warrant for dealing meth.
Michael Adam Nalan, age 33, was caught by law enforcement Tuesday afternoon at 605 Crystal Lake Road W in Forest City. He was wanted on a federal warrant in connection to a conspiracy to distribute meth and possession with intent to deliver meth.
Nalan was charged last year by the Cerro GOrdo county sheriff’s office with a felony drug crime. He was arrested and jailed in September of 2016; the next month he posted $50,000 bond and was released from jail. A judge later granted his request to leave the state, records show. He was scheduled for a jury trial in April, but the case may have been turned over to the federal government at this point.
Nalan was picked up by US Marshalls today, the county jail tells NIT.
