MASON CITY – A Mason City family is offering a cash reward for the safe return of their missing dog.
A $450.00 “no questions asked” cash reward is being offered for anyone who can bring “Mila” home safely to a Mason City family. Mila is a 5 month old long haired German Shepard was was last seen at a home half way between Clear Lake and Mason City, about 2 miles north of the airport.
Kelsey Larsen, who lives in Mason City, tells NIT that her family’s dog Mila was stolen from her parent’s home Friday March 18. Mila “was reported being seen put into an older black Chevy pickup with white decal in the back window. We are desperate to get our missing family member back and could use all the help we can get.”
Mila had a purple collar on with her vet tags when she was taken.
Anyone with information may call their local law enforcement agency or 641-529-6989.

What kind of decal and what side of the window was it on? behind the drivers seat, passenger seat or across the whole back window? Any idea if it was a extended cab pick up?

I feel bad for this family but I don’t understand why people don’t keep a better eye on their pets. There are a lot of pets going missing lately I don’t no why it hasn’t been in the media . These people don’t care if your pet is on its own property they steal them anyway. I’ll keep an eye out.
