NIACC women move to No. 4 in NJCAA Division II poll

niacc_trojans_logoMASON CITY – The NIACC women’s basketball team moved up to fourth in the NJCAA Division II poll released today.

NIACC, which was ninth in the preseason poll and is 6-3 this season, plays a nonconference contest at Marshalltown tonight.

It is the 26th straight poll that NIACC has been ranked in the top 10. The Lady Trojans have been ranked in the top five in 17 of those 26 polls.

The last time NIACC was not ranked in the top 10 was the 2013-14 preseason poll (Oct. 28, 2013) when the Lady Trojans were not ranked.

Johnson County CC remained No. 1 in the NJCAA Division II poll. Kirkwood (6-3) is ranked seventh after being sixth in the initial rankings.

DMACC (7-2) joined the rankings at No. 13 and Southeastern (9-1) entered the rankings at No. 19.
