SPENCER – A Spencer woman was arrested for drunk driving, drug possession and other crimes on March 12th.
According to the Clay County Sheriff’s Office, 0n March 12th, at approximately 10:16 PM, a Clay County Deputy initiated a traffic stop in the 4500 mile of Hwy 71 for a moving violation. Upon investigation the driver, Hunter Birdsall, age 20, was arrested and charged with Operating While Intoxicated 1st Offense, Possession of a controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Possession of Alcohol under the Legal Age.
Birdsall was transported and booked into the Clay County Jail by the Clay County and later posted bond and was released.
