MASON CITY – The Mason City Mohawks football team got its first taste of victory this season Friday night.
The Mohawks beat Ottumwa 17-14 in a rainy game that was played early at Mohawk Stadium.
Ottumwa missed a long field goal late in the game that would have tied the score.
Mason City’s next game is October 11th at home against Des Moines Hoover.
