MASON CITY – For the second year, Terrence Prochaska organized the A Day of Thunder on the Syrup in the All Season’s Building at the North Iowa Events Center Friday and Saturday.
Indoor Syrup Racing races consisted of go karts, motorcycles, quads, 3-wheelers and outlaw golf carts.
The next coke syrup race will be January 4th and 5th. Admission for Adults-$10, Children 7 and under. Pit Passes $20. Practice will be on Friday with Pit Passes $15.
Saturday night events included the feature races with the winners receiving trophies.
