MASON CITY – Police and emergency responders were sent to a Mason City alley after a woman was discovered unresponsive, laying in an alley.
At about 2:00 PM Saturday, details were still emerging after a woman was found laying unconscious in an alley near 918 12th Street NW. It was reported that a a white SUV was seen speeding from the scene and the woman – said to be in her mid-20’s – may have been struck or dumped at that location.
Mason City Police had both sides of the alley blocked and the area protected with caution tape as they investigated. The woman soon woke up, butler conduction was not known.
Police remained at the scene investigating after reporting that the girl would be treated at the hospital.
