On Wednesday, June 22, The Mason City Police Department arrested William Allan Odell, age 39, of Mason City, in connection with the burglary of the Adas Israel Synagogue on June 5th, 2011. Several pieces of electronic equipment were taken in the burglary, and later discovered in a vehicle being used by William Odell.
All items were recovered, and Odell was charged was 2nd degree possesion of stolen property, a class “d” delony. A class “d” felony is punishable by up to 5 years in prison and or a $5,000.00 dollar fine.
The case is still on-going and more arrests are expected.
Subject is innocent until proven guilty.
