Christopher Thomas Anderson, the son of Raymond and Judith (Wickman) Anderson, was born on August 19, 1962, in Fort Dodge, Iowa. He died on January 28, 2026, at his home in Estherville, at the age of 63 years.
Chris received the sacraments of baptism and confirmation in the Catholic Church. Chris graduated from Estherville High School where he enjoyed playing football and wrestling. He also enjoyed spending time at the pool while growing up. After graduating he entered the National Guard. Chris had worked various jobs during his adult life.
In his free time, Chris enjoyed fishing, gardening, mowing, and cheering for the Minnesota Vikings and Twins and in his younger days, pheasant hunting with our dad. He faced many challenges due to bipolar depression, a serious illness. He was a generous person.
Chris is survived by his sisters, Sherry (Dr. Drew) Shain, and Shelly Bryan; brother, David Anderson; nieces, Melissa Hardman, Nicole (Ryan) Rosfjord and nephews, Matt (Lynsee) Planting, Tanner Bryan; uncle, Fred (Janice) Wickman; many cousins, great nieces, and nephews.
Chris was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
