Patricia Kathryn Chavez, age 73, of Stacyville, Iowa, passed away on Wednesday, April 9, 2025, at Mitchell County Regional Health Center. Patricia was born on July 27, 1951. Patricia was united in marriage to Daniel Chavez on July 8, 1995, in Reno, Nevada. Patricia worked as a Pharmacist for Walgreens for over 20 years before retiring. She enjoyed watching western movies, playing Keno with Daniel, and had a deep love for British sports cars. Patricia also loved giving back to others and donating to the Shriners Hospital. She had a strong personality and a great sense of humor. She will be deeply missed by all who were blessed to know her.
Patricia is survived by her sons, Daniel (Corine) Chavez of San Lorenzo, California, Valentino (Erica) Chavez of San Bruno, California, Alberto (Jessica) Chavez of Millbrae, California; grandchildren, Elena Chavez. Valentino Chavez II, Brian Chavez, Alberto Chavez II, Diondra Lopez, Timothy Tinoco, Emily Chavez; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Daniel Chavez.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Visitation Catholic Cemetery in Stacyville, Iowa.
