JOHNSON COUNTY – A Tennessee man was killed when he lost control of his Volvo truck and crashed into a guardrail along an Iowa interstate highway.
According to the Iowa State Patrol, the accident took place at 5:12 AM on November 20, 2024. The patrol says that at the eastbound 245 mile marker in Johnson county, Iowa, a 2021 Volvo truck driven by 25-year-old Jeremy Rogers of Nashville, Tennessee, left the roadway for unknown reasons. The truck struck a bridge guardrail and then went into a ditch and overturned onto the driver’s side.
As a result of the crash, Rogers, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was killed.
