CLEAR LAKE – Police in Clear Lake are hunting for a Mason City man they say perpetrated a drive-by shooting incident late last month.

The Clear Lake Police Department has obtained arrest warrants for 32-year-old Dylan J. Mitchell (pictured at top) of Mason City for two counts of Intimidation with a Dangerous Weapon.

The charges stem from a June 27, drive-by-shooting incident in Clear Lake which occurred in the 500 block of North Shore Drive.

Clear Lake officers diligently investigated the incident and were able to link Mitchell to the incident through both video and physical evidence.

There were no reported injuries when officers arrived.

Clear Lake officers continue to investigate the shooting and are looking asking for the public’s help in locating Mitchell. If you have any information on Mitchell’s location, have information about this incident or know of someone who may, please contact the Clear Lake Police Department at 641-357- 2186 or police@cityofclearlake.org.  Police give the option to remain  anonymous.

“We believe this to be an isolated incident,” police said Tuesday afternoon.
