Diana Webb, age 77 of Fenton, passed away on Wednesday, June 21, 2023 at the Kossuth Regional Health Center.

Diana Webb, age 77 of Fenton, passed away on Wednesday, June 21, 2023 at the Kossuth Regional Health Center. Funeral Service will be 10:30 am Tuesday at the United Methodist Church in Fenton. Burial will take place at the Fenton United Methodist Cemetery. Visitation is 4-7 pm Monday at the United Methodist Church in Fenton.

Diana Lynn Webb was born on May 18, 1946, to parents William Norland (deceased) and Dorothy Jennings Norland (deceased) at the Algona Reginal hospital Algona Iowa. She was the 3rd child in a family of 5 siblings William “Bill” Norland Jr. (deceased) Rogene “Cookie” Norland Westerland Monson (deceased) Donna Norland Walters and Crieg Norland (deceased).

Diana was a talented student through her school years. She met Gerold Raymond Webb (deceased) as a young woman. They dated and they were married on May 28, 1962, in Algona Iowa. They together started the Webb family in Iowa moving to Columbus Georgia with her older sister Rogene “Cookie” Norland Westerland Monson and her husband who was serving in the US Army at the time. Diana and Jerry welcomed a 1st son Daniel Lee on February 23rd, 1963, and relocated to Eagle Grove Iowa. Jerry Webb worked for Umthum Trucking in Eagle Grove while Diana waitressed at various places in Eagle Grove while raising a son until moving to Beardstown Ill in early 1967 where Jerry took a truck driving position with Schmitt Trucking and Transportation while Diana was a homemaker and waitressed. On October 11, 1967, they welcomed a 2nd son James Joesph into the family before returning to Eagle Grove Iowa and making it their home.

Diana worked at a Hy-Vee deli in Eagle Grove while raising 2 young sons and perused her college education attending Iowa Community College, Buena Vista Collage and acquiring a degree in education and counselling. Continuing her college education goals at Fort Dodge in social working and Child abuse education which became her passion in life helping women and children in distressed homes. After her college education was completed, she took a job with the Iowa state Child abuse division and began to travel the state for in home consoling and case referrals.

Diana moved to Fenton Iowa in 1988 and made that her permanent home. Diana was an avid gardener and had flowers all around her home which people often admired and asked for her advice as well as getting started plants and flowers.

Surviving Diana Webb is a sister Donna Walters, 2 sons Daniel Webb and James Webb, a granddaughter Afton Webb, 3 great grand children Brenna and Jayden Grandgeorge and Crew Casady. Nephews and Nieces Jeanna Monson Perschbacher, Johanna (Deceased) Boyle, Paula Bernard, Sammy Monson, Kim Norland, David Norland, Dawn Fox, Keith Norland, Renee Richardson, Dr. Stephanie Henrick/son, Phillip Walters, Amber Walters. Many many great nephews and great nieces.
