MASON CITY – Police stopped a Mason City man for drunk driving and took him to jail late Saturday.
A Mason City police officer stopped a vehicle for a moving violation on Saturday, December 2 at about 11:57 PM at the 500 block of South Kentucky Avenue. After an investigation, the driver, 27-year-old David Ray Svoboda of Mason City, was arrested on a charge of operating while under the influence.
Svoboda was jailed and soon released, pending a court date.
