MASON CITY – A Mason City woman is facing a felony for allegedly stealing a Jeep.
Mason City police tell NIT that on February 19, 2017, a vehicle owner reported their Jeep Grand Cherokee was taken without permission by a known associate. The owner reportedly made contact with the suspect and asked for her to return it; the request was unsuccessful. An officer then applied for an arrest warrant which was issued later.
On Feb 27, 2017, officers arrested the suspect, 33-year-old Dana Marie Fineday, at her home on the warrant for second-degree theft. She was taken to the county jail, where she remains held on $5,000 cash or surety bond. She’ll be in court March 10.

And it was a fineday for the Jeep owner!
