CLEAR LAKE – A Clear Lake man was arrested this week in connection with an alleged domestic abuse incident.
Jay John Jaspers, age 52 of Clear Lake, turned himself in on an arrest warrant in connection to an alleged domestic abuse incident that took place February 6, 2017. After an investigation by Clear Lake police into that incident, Jaspers was charged with first-offense domestic abuse assault causing injury.
Jaspers was soon released from jail as a judge imposed a no-contact order between Jaspers and his alleged victim. He awaits a hearing on February 24.
