Mason City man guilty of drunk driving and then continuing to operate a vehicle

MASON CITY – A Mason City man was caught drunk driving this summer, then continued to operate a vehicle and was arrested again.

A Mason City police officer noticed 21-year-old Nick Alan Moser driving a car near Jefferson Avenue and 1st Street NW Tuesday evening, June 14, 2016 at about 9 PM. Moser has no valid driver’s license. An investigation led officers to arrest Moser for operating while under the influence.

Moser later pled guilty to first offense operating while under the influence. He was sentenced to 7 days in jail and $1,987.00 in fines and court fees. His driver’s license was revoked.

In October, Moser was caught driving by Mason City police, leading to a charge of driving with a revoked license. This brought him an additional $1,511.00 in fines and court fees.
