MASON CITY – A Mason City woman arrested three times for drug possession and once for drunk driving pleased guilty and was sent to jail.
Rain Marie Eckholt, age 20, was arrested by Mason City police on May 30 for operating while intoxicated, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was again arrested on July 8 for possession of marijuana. she was earlier arrested on May 15 for possession of marijuana.
On September 2, Eckholt pled guilty to all charges except possession of drug paraphernalia (she awaits a January 2016 trial on that charge) and the May 15 arrest for possession of Marijuana, which was dismissed.
She was sent to jail for a total of four days and ordered to pay $1,962.50 and $275.00 in fines and court fees.
20 years old and all those charges. Who says drugs and alcohol doesn’t ruin lives.
