CHARLES CITY – A former Mason City woman has been arrested for a third time this year in Charles City.
On July 28, near 1:30 AM in the morning, Police in Charles City responded to a report of a woman who was “knocking doors”. After an investigation, officers located and arrested 30-year-old Lacey Prohaska. She was charged with disorderly conduct and taken to jail, where she still remains as she awaits a non-jury trial on August 21.
Earlier in June, Prohaska was charged with stealing a car in Mason City. She pled guilty in July to operating a vehicle without the owner’s consent and was ordered to serve two days in jail and to pay $1,955.11 in fines and court fees.
Prohaska also pled guilty on August 3 in Mitchell county to interference with official acts. She was ordered to pay $397.50 in fines and court fees.
Her arrest on July 28 was her third in Charles City this year.
