MASON CITY – A Mason City man was arrested on a theft charge after a judge issued an arrest warrant.
Police were called to an apartment at 2421 South Taft Avenue Tuesday morning at about 9:18 AM to investigate a disturbance. Upon arrival, officers located a man with an active arrest warrant, 28-year-old Kevin Eugene Hamilton, who was wanted on a charge of 3rd degree theft. Hamilton was taken to the county jail by a Cerro Gordo deputy who assisted at the scene, processed and released. No court date has been set at this time on his theft charge.
Hamilton seems to be a familiar name on the jail roster.
