MASON CITY – A teen may suffered minor injuries and was cited by police after a two-car accident Tuesday afternoon south of Mason City.

Authorities took a report of a two vehicle accident on Highway 65, just south of 190th Street, Tuesday at about 4:30 PM.

Bonnie Wiederkehr, age 58 of Ackley, was southbound on Highway 65 in her 1995 Ford Windstar van when a northbound vehicle passing another vehicle collided with her van. Jaime Saenez, age 17, was driving a 2002 Ford Mustang in the collision.
