Worth county felon arrested for drug possession

jail2GARNER – A Worth county woman pled guilty this week to charges of possession of meth and marijuana.

Rebecca Dawn Coates, age 45 of Manly, was arrested in November of 2013 in Hancock county for possession of methamphetamine and possession of marijuana, both serious misdemeanors. On April 8, 2014, Coates pled guilty to both charges and was sentenced to two days in jail and $1,140.00 in fines and court costs, which she immediately paid in full.

On April 9, 2014, Coates had a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia dismissed, again in Hancock county.

Coates is a convicted felon, pleading guilty to felony D forgery in Floyd county in 2007.
