MASON CITY – A local woman is in jail facing three felonies at this time after police discovered she was using a fraudulent credit card.
Police said Wednesday that Jacqueline Hollenbach, age 32, had been aiding a person with some medical issues since approximately May of 2013. During this time, Hollenbach allegedly applied for a credit card in that person’s name, without their knowledge or consent. Hollenbach is accused of charging $10,000 or more to the credit card between May of 2013 to now, leading to a charge of felony C first degree theft. Because the multiple charges occurred over several months, she was charged with felony B ongoing criminal conduct. Hollenbach was also charged with felony D identity theft because she allegedly used the acquaintance’s information to open the credit card, again without the victim’s knowledge or permission.
Hollenbach is being held in the Cerro Gordo County Jail at this time on $25,000 cash or surety bond, awaiting a preliminary hearing on February 14th.

SUBJECT IS INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY
I just love these dumb asses that get into trouble and then you see them in jail crying like a baby. They make me want to vomit. I’d love to have that sheriff from Arizona come up here and put all of our jailees to work on the chain gang.
Oh look. She is crying now. What about the person she stole from?
