The City of Mason City, IA is accepting applications for part-time temporary seasonal Before and After School Program staff to work during the 2013 -2014 school year. Staff hired will be responsible for the supervision of 10-50 school aged children. Duties include: playing games, leading large group games, helping with children’s homework and ensuring the safety of the children. Candidates must satisfactorily pass both Department of Human Services and criminal background checks. Individuals must be at least 18 years of age. Various trainings are needed or will be provided. Hours will range from Monday through Friday, 7:00 am – 8:45 am, and again from 2:45 pm – 5:30 pm. Starting pay is $7.25/hour and up based on experience. Applications must be received by the HUMAN RESOURCES DEPARTMENT no later than 4:30pm, January 10, 2014.
