MASON CITY – Cerro Gordo County Sheriffs reported an accident with injury Monday morning.
According to the sheriff’s office, Monday morning at 9:59 a.m. the Cerro Gordo County Sheriff’s department, Mason City Police Department, and Mason City Fire Department responded to a single vehicle accident 1/4 mile east of highway 65 on the Avenue of the Saints. Forty-six year old Brett Dobling, of Marion Iowa, was driving his motorcycle westbound on the Avenue when he lost control and slid into the median. Mr. Dobling was transported by the Mason City Fire Medics to Mercy Medical Center North Iowa where he was listed in stable condition.
The accident is currently under investigation by the Cerro Gordo Sheriff’s department.
