DES MOINES – Some Iowa legislators have introduced a bill to head off any involvement by Iowa government in a program known in the United Nations as “Agenda 21.”
The bill would prohibit the state and all political subdivisions from supporting or participating in any action relating to the United Nations Agenda 21 proposal to impose sustainable development principles and practices on state and local governments.
“Agenda 21” is an international environmental action plan of the United Nations relating to sustainable development.
This bill prohibits the state of Iowa or any of its political subdivisions from implementing or financially supporting the implementation of Agenda 21 if that implementation would infringe or restrict private property rights without also providing due process of law.
The bill defines political subdivisions to include counties, cities, townships, school corporations, area education gencies, community colleges, and certain public/private partnerships.
The bill is currently in subcommittee hearings.
House File 66 is supported by legislators Watts, Pettengill, Schultz, Fry, Alons, Miller, L., Windschitl, Landon, Sheets, Bacon, Heartsill, Soderberg, Shaw, Highfill, Koester, Hess, Taylor, R., Hagenow, Huseman, Dolecheck, Klein, Fisher, Salmon, Vander Linden, Rogers, Hanusa and Brandenburg.
I look this up and can tell you to be very, very scared of this program. Some of the socialist will like it because it fits their plan of not having to work while getting money from someone else. However, under this agenda the money has to run out and then what do you do?
Any city/state/federal elected offical who approves or moves forward with this agenga 21 bill should be tried for TREASON>
They need to fully restrict any Agenda 21 plan and not just “well if this then that” type of thing. Agenda 21 is an evil thing to happen to our country. Most people have no idea what it even is let alone want to learn about. Just google it people, and READ.
I hope they pass this. This UN Agenda 21 plan is devised to undermine our current governmental system. It is not American. It sets up our country to be severely influenced by foreign countries such as our laws, regulations, restrictions, property rights. I’m really glad to see this coming up for a vote.

We have all been warned locally and better be taking this Agenda 21 stuff seriously. Thankfully the Iowa State Legislature is.
