April 9, 1958 — January 24, 2026

Diane Lynn Williams, 67, of Mason City, passed away Saturday, January 24, 2026, at MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. Per Diane’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held at a later date to be announced. Memorials may be directed to the family of Diane Williams, in care of Randy Williams, and may be sent to 1607 N. Washington Ave., Mason City.

Diane (Cory) Williams was born on April 9, 1958, in Mason City, to parents Ernest and Darlene (Johnson) Cory. Diane graduated from Mason City High School in 1976. In her younger years, Diane’s love for horses began; saving up her babysitting money to buy her first horse, Skidoo.

Diane was united in marriage to Randall Williams on November 16, 1990, and together they raised their three children.

Diane started her employment at McDonald’s and later became a daycare provider for many years. During her time running her daycare, she also became the owner of her business, Balanced for Health, and she ran that for over 25 years. Diane retired in 2023.

In her free time, Diane enjoyed playing cards, tubing, board games, riding horses, and spending time with her family and friends. She was an avid animal lover, loving her dogs, cats, birds, and of course, her horses. Diane absolutely loved camping, and helped build Lucky’s Last Resort, working on the patio, purchasing ATVs, and painting rocks with family. She was often found riding and driving golf carts with her grandkids.

To her family, Diane will be forever remembered by her loving and compassionate spirit. She was incredibly kind, gave the best advice, and was a great listener. Diane will be deeply missed by those who knew her and loved her endlessly.

Diane is survived by her husband, Randy Williams; children, Jessica Cornett, Kaysie (Steve) Sande, and Eric (Kelsey) Williams; grandchildren, Kaleb (Emilie), Sam, Rooney, and Finch; sisters, Linda (Chuck) Forthmann, and Sally (Don) Ballard; and several nieces, nephews, and very special friends. Diane will be deeply missed by her cherished granddogs, Pepper and Sookie; and her special horses, Magic and Zippy.

Diane was preceded in death by her parents, Ernie and Darlene Cory; her in-laws, Dave and Sharon Kennedy and Jack and Sandy Williams. Diane will be reunited with her cherished animals in heaven.
