A Mass of Christian Burial for Mary Catherine Hinderaker will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday March 10, 2026, at Saint Mark Catholic Church 415 Main Street, Iowa Falls. Burial will be at Saint James Cemetery Highway 65, Colo, Iowa. Linn’s Funeral Home of Iowa Falls is assisting the family with arrangements. Mary Catherine Westly was born February 13, 1931 in Marshalltown, Iowa to George K and Mary Yvo (Croker) Westley. She attended Iowa Falls High School graduating with the class of 1949. Mary was united in marriage to Vernon Wallace Hinderaker on August 25, 1950 at Saint Mark Catholic Church in Iowa Falls, Iowa. Mary worked most recently at Walmart and Riverside Book and Bible. She had a great love for cats and had many through the years.
Mary is preceded in death by her parents; her husband: Vernon Hinderaker; her uncle: Leo Croker; and long time companion and special friend: Bill Godsell.
