STATEMENT FROM MATT MARQUARDT, CANDIDATE FOR CITY COUNCIL, ON SUPPORT FROM PHIL SANCHEZ :
I am very pleased to announce that Phil Sanchez has thrown his support behind our campaign for city council.
I have always admired Phil’s dedication to what he believes in. Â Coming from humble beginnings and a working class family myself, I strongly identify with hard-working folks who are looking for a fair shake.
Phil ran a great campaign, a clean campaign, and conducted himself in an honorable way. Â He definitely earned his 241 votes on November 7. Â To those of you who voted for Phil, he’s let me know that he’s voting for me in the December 5 election:
“I will be voting for you, Matt,” Phil told me. Â “And I hope my votes go to you, as I know you will represent the Fourth Ward well.”
Again, I am honored to have Phil’s vote and support in this election, and I hope all Sanchez supporters will get to the polls to cast a vote for Matt Marquardt.
