Richard Michael Schreiner, age 70 with a last known address of Mason City, was booked into the Cerro Gordo county jail on Friday, August 8, 2025, at 4:56 PM. He is charged with two counts of:
– 709.12(1)(b) – Indecent Contact with Child — Over Clothing
According to Iowa code 709.12(1)(b), a description of the crime is, “Touch the clothing covering the immediate area of the inner thigh, groin, buttock, anus, or breast of the child.”
Court records show Schreiner was the subject of a search warrant in Cerro Gordo county on August 4.
Schreiner (pictured at top) remains held on $4,000.00 cash-only bond.
