WASHINGTON, D.C. – As America’s new age of Imperialism launches under President Donald Trump and American Ruler Elon Musk, a heated debate is emerging about which land mass near the USA should join our nation as the 51st state: Canada, Greenland, DC, or Puerto Rico?

Puerto Rico is a small Caribbean island of 3.2 million know for is scenic beaches, tasty waves, delicious greens, Reggae music and hurricane disasters. It became an American property in 1898, taken from Spain. It has been clamoring for statehood ever since.

Greenland, as the top graphic shows, is a large island “owned by” Denmark, off the east coast of Canada. Its polar ice caps are melting quickly, and it is rich in natural resources. Less than 57,000 people live there. It would make a great strategic addition to the defense of the United States.

The District of Columbia is a densely-populated urban area of about 680,000 nestled into the east coast of the United States between Maryland and Virginia. Plenty of alleged swamp in the region, with career bureaucrats and pompous attitudes galore. Likely a “blue” state should it join the union fully.

Canada is a nation of about 40 million folks who like strong beer, the Queen, and hockey, eh?  It snows a lot up there, and plenty of the inhabitants speak French, and like their “free health care.”  Plenty of timber to be harvested from its forests, and the oil gushes like Melania in the presence of Justin Trudeau.

Which is the best candidate to join the United States?
