The Board of Supervisors of Cerro Gordo County, Iowa, met in special session pursuant to adjournment at
9:00 a.m. Present: Chairperson Lori Meacham Ginapp, Vice Chairperson Chris Watts, Supervisor Casey Callanan, and various members of the public.
The purpose of the meeting was to receive updates from Healthy Harvest of North Iowa and Department of Corrections.
With no further business, the meeting adjourned at
9:37 a.m.

The Board of Supervisors of Cerro Gordo County, Iowa, met in regular session pursuant to adjournment. Present: Chairperson Lori Meacham Ginapp, Vice Chairperson Chris Watts, Supervisor Casey Callanan, and various members of the public.
Chairperson Meacham Ginapp convened the meeting at 10:00 a.m.
Callanan moved with Watts seconding, to approve today’s agenda and minutes for the February 5, 2024 regular session. Motion passed unanimously.
Public comment session was held.
Callanan moved with Watts seconding, to approve claims. Motion passed unanimously.
Callanan moved with Watts seconding, to approve the Sheriff’s monthly report of fees. Motion passed unanimously.
Watts moved with Callanan seconding, to approve the revised IT policy. Motion passed unanimously.
Watts moved with Callanan seconding, to abate 2016-2022 taxes on the following parcels:
16-36-102-012-00 in the amount of $32
16-36-102-011-00 in the amount of $32
16-36-102-013-00 in the amount of $32
Motion passed unanimously.
Callanan moved with Watts seconding, to contribute $250,000 split between two years to the Clear Lake Surf District project. Motion passed unanimously.
County Engineer Billings provided an initial update.
Callanan moved with Watts seconding, to accept the Engineer’s Report on Drainage District 1 and set public hearing for April 1, 2024 at 10:05 a.m. Motion passed unanimously.
County Engineer Billings concluded his update.
Gardiner + Co. conducted the Exit Conference for the FY2023 Audit.
Callanan moved with Watts seconding, to adjourn at 10:30 a.m. Motion passed unanimously.
