Bradley Paul “Brad” Beek, 58, passed away on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, at MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center.
A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, February 21, 2026, at Hogan-Bremer-Moore Colonial Chapel, 126 3rd St. NE, Mason City, Iowa, with Mark Doebel officiating. Burial will follow at Elmwood St. Joseph Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Friday, February 20, 2026, at Hogan-Bremer-Moore Colonial Chapel.
Brad was born on August 14, 1967, in Mason City, Iowa. He grew up in Rockwell before later moving to Manly. In his younger years, he spent countless hours helping his grandparents on their farm, assisting with crops and caring for pigs. Those early days instilled in him a strong work ethic and a deep appreciation for simple, meaningful work.
Throughout his life, Brad held a variety of jobs, but his favorite roles were in restaurants. He truly enjoyed working with people and never met a stranger. His friendly personality and easygoing nature made him a natural at connecting with others.
On May 4, 1996, Brad married Grace Oudekerk. Together they shared nearly 30 happy years of marriage filled with love, laughter, and adventure. They enjoyed taking mini vacations to wrestling meets, baseball games, football games, and fishing trips. Each fall, they looked forward to their annual trip to Gays Mills to pick apples, and often stopped for a picnic in Prairie du Chien. Brad loved the outdoors and embraced life to the fullest.
Known as the Manly Wrestling team’s “Super Fan,” Brad rarely missed an opportunity to cheer on the wrestlers. His enthusiasm and loyal support will be fondly remembered by many.
Those left to cherish memories of Brad are his wife, Grace; parents, Linda and Joe Thompson; siblings, Nikki (James) Kuhn, Jason Beek and Michelle Beek; sisters-in-law, Rachel (Brad) Meier, Susan (Dennis) Carzoli, Barb Hughes, Betty (Konnie) Schabacker and Sally Oudekerk; grandmother, Margaret Thompson; many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Brad is preceded in death by his father, Dennis (Linda) Beek; grandparents, Benny and Esther Beek, Jesse and Gail Tomlinson, and Merle Thompson; Grace’s parents, Albert and Marlene Oudekerk; nephew, Noah Graves.
