IOWA FALLS – A male victim suffered multiple stab wounds, police say, and a Northern Iowa man was arrested as the prime suspect on an attempted murder charge.
On July 20th, 2023 at approximately 7:54pm, the Hardin County Sheriffs’ Office received a 911 call reporting that a male had been stabbed. Law enforcement and emergency medical services were immediately dispatched to the scene. Upon arrival it was determined that a 27-year-old male had sustained multiple stab wounds. The male was transported to Hansen Family Hospital by Iowa Falls EMS and later taken by helicopter to Des Moines.
Law Enforcement arrested and charged 24 year old Aaron McClellan of Iowa Falls for Attempted Murder a Class ‘B’ Felony. McClellan is currently being held at the Hardin County Jail.
The Hardin County Sheriffs’ Office was assisted by the Iowa Falls Police Department, Iowa Falls EMS and the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigations.
