DAVENPORT – Police are investigating after a child was shot in Davenport.
On Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at approximately 12:43 PM, Davenport Police responded to the 3200 block of McKinley Ave in reference to a report of shots fired.
Responding units located multiple spent casings. Preliminary investigation indicates that a six-year-old sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken, via private vehicle, to a local hospital for medical treatment.
This remains an active investigation, and no further information is available at this time.
