ROCKWELL – A death is being investigated by law enforcement in Rockwell after a man was found deceased Wednesday afternoon.
On January 9, 2019 shortly after 4:00 PM, the Rockwell Police Department, Rockwell/Swaledale EMT’s and the Cerro Gordo County Sheriff’s Office responded to 213 East Main Street in Rockwell, Iowa on the report of an unresponsive male in the home. After arriving at the home first responders discovered a deceased male. The name of the deceased male is 47-year-old Danny Lee Belcher who resided in the home.
The Cerro Gordo County Medical Examiner’s Office was called to the scene and is assisting in the investigation. The cause of Mr. Belcher’s death is undetermined at this time pending autopsy results.
