CHARLES CITY – Police sought a man on an arrest warrant for attempting to entice a minor for sexual purposes.
An arrest warrant was issued by a judge in Floyd county on August 21 for 51-year-old Patrick Alan Kelly. That day police officers located Kelly and arrested him on the warrant.
Kelly remains jailed at this time in the Floyd county jail on a felony charge of
attempting to entice a minor under the age of 16. The alleged offense took place on March 1, 2014.
Kelly awaits a preliminary hearing on August 31.
