MASON CITY – An Osage felon who recently moved to Mason City has found himself in more trouble since he landed here, this weekend hiding from cops as they searched for him in a North End neighborhood.
Kevin Vincent Mulling was convicted of felony second degree theft last December after being charged by Mason City police in July of 2014. He was given a suspended 5 year prison sentence, a suspended fine, 3 years of probation and required to submit a DNA sample. He was also required to pay over $2,000 in restitution, but has failed to make a payment on that balance. Mulling claims via social media to have moved to Mason City from Osage in March.
Mulling was arrested by Mason City police on March 24 for possession of an illegal substance and drug paraphernalia. He was jailed and then released as he awaits a hearing on April 10.
He was again arrested on a charge of fifth degree theft, again by Mason City police, for an incident on March 31.
Mulling found himself in more trouble on the evening of April 4. A Mason City police officer observed Mulling at about 9:30 PM acting suspiciously at a North End bar, the Kozy Korner, located at 1402 North Fedueral Avenue. Mulling then fled from the officer on foot. Cerro Gordo deputies assisted Mason City officers in trying to locate Mulling. After a brief search and holding a perimeter in the area, Mulling was arrested by police. No charges join this incident have been disclosed.
At this time, Mulling is also facing burglary and other charges in Mitchell county.

The P.O.S. should be made to go back to Osage. we have enough criminals here already. Send him to Nevada.
