MACMILLAN TOWNSHIP, MI – A North Iowa man died after a snowmobile accident this week in Michigan.
Brandon Laubenthal, age 31 of Bancroft, died Friday, January 30, 2015, as result of a snowmobile accident near Ironwood, Michigan. Funeral arrangements are pending at this time.
According to Michigan State Police, Laubenthal was riding a snowmobile westbound along a trail east of Ewen in McMillan Township, when he went off the side of the trail and struck a tree.
Laubenthal was taken to an area hospital where he later died from his injuries.
